The historic distributor of “tiled” raster nautical charts, from official hydrographic services data (SHOM, UKHO, BSH, aso.) has just redesigned the interface of its website. Much simpler and more user-friendly, it facilitates the selection of useful charts according to navigation regions. Subscriptions to different publishers allow integration into NavimetriX, SailGrib, Weather4D and Squid applications.

You access the subscription portal by this link. You must first create a Geogarage account. Warning, don't forget the identifiers created, they will be used to activate your subscriptions in your favorite application and, of course, to log in again for new subscriptions.
Subscribe
The subscriptions page presents the available charts grouped by major geographic regions : Europe, Americas, Oceania & Pacific, with the number of publishers for each. Editors are displayed as thumbnails, with a link allowing you to check the geographical coverage and the levels of detail offered by each hydrographic service, and a button to subscribe.
This layout considerably improves access and choice of charts. Once the subscriptions have been validated after the purchase procedure, all you need to do is activate your account in the one, or more, application(s) that you use. While connected to the internet, the charts will be displayed according to the procedure proposed by your application.
The icing on the cake
Geogarage now offers a quarterly subscription for SHOM as an alternative to the annual subscription. This offer is only valid for SHOM.
This is an excellent initiative and good news for sailors who only sail during the summer period and who do not use cartography the rest of the year..
