    1. FaceBook is the interactive communication vector most used by hundreds of players in the world of sport, of culture, of the association, aso. Nothing to do with fake news. For us it is the best support for direct contact with the users of our applications : SailGrib = 2100+ members, Weather4D = 1900+ members, NavimetriX = 200+ members in a few days. But we also have support by email, and I have been using my personal Mac Navigation blog to disseminate news about navigation applications and their technical environment for more than 15 years old.

  1. Hello Francis
User of the EXCELLENTE WHEATHER4D for a little less than a year ( apres 12 years on INAVX) I would like to have your opinion on a migration to NAVIMETRIX regarding the evolution compared to W4D and the cost inherent to this migration
    Kind regards

    1. Bonjour, a good part of the answer is in my previous post.
Regarding costs, NavimetriX is a free application, with a Premium subscription, according to the website description, including both access to high-resolution GRIB models and advanced weather-routing functions, in modern architecture, multi-platform, and cloud synchronization already operational. As a result, there can be no transfer of the weather subscription..
On the other hand, Geogarage mapping is acquired from a third party company, which allows you to use subscriptions with all three applications.

  2. Hello Francis,
Super application. I downloaded it and used it for our crossing to the Canaries.
A function that would be great (or I haven't found how to do it), is to be able to associate the target with the route or routing, to see the weather parameters as the boat progresses. Sincerely, Michael.
