Training week-end onboard the 6 up to 7 July 2013 " Navigate with an iPad " on board of Owl, a classic ketch gaffer 21 meters high, built in 1909, departure from Agde.
The crew (Skipper + sailor and hostess) is responsible for the operation, food and cleaning. The cabin linen is provided.
I was on board to provide training on using apps with iPad : iNavX, Weather4D PRO, Mainly AyeTides XL. Program : routes preparation, routing optimization, monitoring of optimized routes, refresh routing, etc,. A great time to combine the latest technology in yachting tradition.
